STOP PLAYING CHURCH
STOP PLAYING church
jANUARY - march
01/28/18 Is jesus worth it?
Obey the rules... most of the time. Do something generous, every now and then. Smile on Sunday morning. Don't risk anything. Don't try anything new. Grace covers it all right? It's a game, and many of us play it. There's just one problem; Jesus never taught us to play that game. Truly, He only asks us for one thing.

02/11/18 what does it look like when we stop?
Today we talk outcomes. If we really live the life that we are called to as Christ's church, how will that look? It's a Biblically addressed truth that many people think they are living 'Christian' lives and will be surprised one day to find out that they're not. What will it look like in your life and that of your church when each of us live the lives that we are called to?
02/18/18 church is not a place you go
In some ways the words kingdom and fortress seem drawn from another time. And as we use them they feel a bit interchangeable. They are both physical places, and in that way they seem like places that people choose to live in. When built successfully, fortresses are small self contained spaces, insulated from the outside world. Kingdoms ARE the outside world, and contain everything within the reach of those who rule them. Are you choosing life in a fortress or a kingdom?
Sorry, no recording available this week
